Artist Melissa Schooley was born and raised just north of Simcoe, Ontario. In 2002 Melissa received her Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts, Visual Arts from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, British Columbia. Upon completion of her degree, she returned to Ontario to set up her studio.

Melissa’s work has been in juried exhibitions in galleries across Canada. She exhibits her work throughout the province at various art and craft shows throughout the year, and her work is available for purchase at a number of locations across Canada.

She is currently working in porcelain, creating functional servingware for everyday use. Her work is available to purchase at more than 20 locations across Canada.
