Rich Baker

Biography
Rich Baker, the artist, has seen many incarnations over the years in the talent department. Starting as a singer and songwriter, he plies and shapes words and music. While he has not put down his guitar entirely, he now plies and shapes metal to form his vision of a piece.

“I don't call myself any particular type of sculptural artist. I use mixed media, I use elements of steam punk and recycled art, combining old and new methods to achieve what I wish to see. Mostly I create what inspires me and more often than not, it becomes a hyper-realistic piece. Not surrealism, not reproductions, but something that is unique to my art.”

Rich currently resides in the countryside of Southwestern Ontario with his wife, daughter, dog, 2 cat's and various wildlife that wander by. He is inspired by the art we see in everyday life.
